In January I shared my thoughts and ideas about the many benefits that can be derived from coloring images drawn by others. You can read that post by clicking here: ArtiphyTheHeart: The Dignity Of Coloring.
Today I've colored another of Tammy Vitale's WyldeWomen images, this time very simply and naively, with thinned acrylic paint.
The text is one of Tammy's Wylde Women Wisdom quotes. It reads: "Tears have a purpose. They are what we carry of the ocean, and perhaps we must become sea, give ourselves to it, if we are to be transformed." -Linda Hogan, Solar Storms
Even when we are already grounded, knowing our purpose and endowed with clear vision, a sense of direction, and clarity of mind, we still need to remain connected in a system of mutual support. In addition to her website, Tammy's blog is an oasis on the journey. Stop by and pick up your own coloring book and Wilde Women Wisdom.
Thank you so much for sharing this! and for your very kind words. I must go now and share it on face book (p.s.I gave my version of this a red flower too!)
