I'm back to my little handmade, hand-bound, brown paper wrapper journal. It's one of my favorites. You can see it HERE. It, and two more like it, were made for Kelly Kilmer's J.O.Y. workshop, and I'm filling this one with alphabet pages for the Affair With Art group I belong to.
I love J.O.Y. It's completely different from other ways I journal and collage. I limit each and every piece of collage, backgrounds included, to stuff pulled from magazines. No painted backgrounds, although some tape and penwork and maybe a brush stroke or two on top is allowed. My rules. I want to see how far I can go using the thinnest materials possible. No cardstock. No commercial papers.
Here's "C":
Pretty cool, if you ask me.
Very cool and pretty lush! I am amazed (and I shouldn't be by now), at what you can cobble together and make fabulous, as a collage! *bows and applause*

i like your idea of posting the JOY pages to your blog and that you combine different group prompts together. Very fun. I just started a blog and am starting to (squeekily) get the hang of it. Yours is inspirational. --Irene
