How cute is that! Looks like alot of work but I'm so glad you were able to do it.

Michelle LaPoint Rydell

WOW! That is impressive! Beautiful and intricate work!

Now that turned out absolutely fantastic - in every sense of the word! I can't believe there's no glue... what a gorgeous idea!

On a different tack, did you learn that bookbinding from classes, workshops or a book? I really like that and am thinking my next book purchase will be one about bookbinding as I enjoy making them so much. In the interests of time, space and peace at home, I am giving up altering and devoting myself to paper, paints and drawing - well in theory, that is!! xoxoxo

Barbara, this is PHENOMENAL!!! I am so impressed! It looks like it took awhile to do, but what fabulous results. Your book will be a delight for everyone who opens it - you've taken altered book art into the third dimension! And to think it all stemmed from trying to fix a "mistake" - sometimes that's how the best things come about. Nice work!

How clever is that! The dragon looks so complicated. I love it. I also thought it was a hoot that the button just underneath your slide says "Adopt a Pet". I noticed it just as the dragon was coming to full height. It gave me the first smile of the day. Thanks!

Great looking dragon! I really enjoyed the slideshow.

WOW!!!! Amazing and a VERY clever "fix".

Terri Kahrs

He's TERRIFIC!!!! What an awesome solution for a difficult challenge! And what a surprise to see him - right in the center of all of the activity! Wonderful! Hugs, Terri xoxo

Brooks Ann

Barbara, I love the dragon pop-up ~ Neat way to take care of the "woggly" signature!

Barbara Rossman

You are so right on! I love it. What great paper engineering. WOWSER GIRL.....

Monica Smith

As a child i yearned to have popup books and find them just as fascinating as an adult. The dragon is great and it sure helps to have a machine to cut. last time i made cards of popup doves hours and hours were spent to cut and re-cut.
looking forward to following the other pages.

I can feel the flames....need I say more?

That is so cool! I know the girls in our altered book club will love this when they see it.

Barbara Hagerty

Thank you all for your wonderful comments! I appreciate you all so very much!

Monica, I used scissors. These templates are designed to be scored, folded, and cut out with scissors, and it's surprisingly easy!

Very cool pop up book Barbara. I also love your other blog! Fun stuff.

That is so cool! Love all the books you are making by the way.

Michele Unger
