You are amazing! I adore the way you've used the picture and have taken Marit's prompt and combined it with the Full-tilt-boogie experience to make it uniquely your own!!!! Happy weekend! Hugs, Terri xoxoxo

I am with you on using the originals! What else are you going to do with them besides store them in a box? Except for digital photographs I've taken (where there really isn't an original) I always use the actual photo I've taken. Yeah, it is liberating. Thanks for sharing!

You were quite resourceful making your own photo frames! They really have a nice look to them. I enjoy your "can do" spirit. You make a valid point in the authenticity of finished work using an original. For journaling, however, sometimes a copy is a wise decision so the original can be saved for something more serious. Or not!

Love the picture. Love using originals. Love the frames.

Love the colorized B&W photo! I do that a lot as well using Copic markers. And what a brilliant idea for the frames!

Wow, so wonderdul to see and read the process. Fantastic work!

I really love your style, but you know that! You are the most authentic artist I know and I love that your photo looks just like me when I was little - seriously!!! Lol!
I really like the way your book is coming together - liking those black swirly tangles too, on the opposite page! =)

Your frames look GREAT, Barbara!

I am all for using my original vintage stuff. I didn't have to think too long and hard about it because for me, the oldness of the paper is one of the things I love so much about using vintage goodies! I wouldn't get nearly as much satisfaction with photocopying the original and using the copies! I do think that photocopying art journal pages and reworking them into other art journal spreads can be fun though.
