Maybe my current crush on this color is a seasonal thing. I've been using these colors increasingly since last February when our oranges were at their peak.
That's when these ornamentals were on the tree. I know it's only circumstantial, but I think they may be responsible.
Even on the inside cover I couldn't stop with black and white. I had to add orange. I was a little more liberal with color on the inside. If you're interested, pics of some of the collaged pages can be found by clicking HERE
Here's the back and spine of a new single signature book. I didn't plan the color. I wasn't even thinking about my choices, but it happened anyway: Orange. The panel is painted canvas, overstamped with darker orange.
The cover. I'd like to credit the artist whose pregnant robot image I've used. I really love this one. The name is on the tip of my tongue....help me out....do you recognize the work?

i spent the summer in love with that color and now i have bags of it in bowls all over my house...cuties in a bowl...the color of summer lillies
