Has it really been a month since my last post? My confession to you is that I hate uploading pics. I don't know why. And a blog post is so dry without them.
That, and I have been very busy creating. Sometimes for me blog posts and creativity don't go hand in hand. In a conflict, creativity wins. Always.
I spend a lot of time here, drawing, journaling, cutting, pasting, gluing. It's a great place to unwind and work, all at the same time. This little sketchbook is an easy take-along. I've filled it with Reeves BFK and no room for expansion so it's all text and drawing. Nothing glued in here.
Here's the inside. The paper fans out, accordion style. These are 2 pages (below). If you like the style of this book, Kelly Kilmer will teach you how to make one. I've tweaked this one a bit to suit my needs, but isn't that the point? Of course it is.
Front cover closed.
There are more little books on my Flickr. Feel free to stop by and take a look. I'm pretty sure you can get there by clicking the widget on my sidebar, or try clicking HERE.
While I was thinking about breaking the silence with this post, I found myself humming this tune...
...and I stopped by youtube to snag it for you. Better -- much better even than the original. Is it just me? Or is there something very sexy about aging rockers?
Beautiful piece of art. Great to catch up with you again, I lost a lot of my links!!
I don't blog a lot as I was on a Design Team & had to hold off creating unless it ws for them. They have sold up now so I can be more free rein. I work long hours & don't like to blog mundane things I prefer pictures of my artwork :0)

Good to see a blog post again!! I can't help blogging - it's addictive... I am so glad I am taking Kelly's class. I like both books and am sure I will make them again and again!! I have also been looking at pop tape and kawaii tape... I could become addicted to that too! Did you notice the "Hello Kitty" star stickers on my page? Lol!!

Barbara, I've been enjoying your blog and journals for so long! I may not always comment, but know that I visit often.
