...For Crowabout, Mixed Media Monday, Theme Thursday, Wednesday Stamper, Three Muses, and Pointy Hats and Wings
My fashionable (MMM theme) Zetti (WS theme) was made with images from Crowabout, and from my own private stash of patterned papers (TT theme). And since the passing of time is a recurring theme in my dreams, it fits for the Three Muses theme, as well.
Tonight's post will be short and sweet. I'm a little under the weather, and as it's always better to be on top of things than underneath them, I'll be calling it a night early, hoping for lots of rest and pleasant dreams. I plan to hop into bed with the book I'm reading: The Needle's Eye by Margaret Drabble, a glass of wine, and I'll try to catch an episode or two of the original Prisoner series on DVD before I drift off to sleep. We're trying to finish the original series in the order they were made before the new Prisoner airs this weekend. I must say, I'm not optimistic about the re-make. From what I've been told, not much of it seems to even follow the original story. Still, we're only a couple of episodes away from finishing the original, so it will be fun to have those fresh in our minds when we see what the studios have come up with on Sunday.
Stay well, and have a great day, Everyone!
Wow this is stunning.
Unbelievable Zetti art.

i love Tick Tock, Barbara. Isn't it fun to combine challenges? You've done a particularly great job of it here. My weakness is patterned papers, and these all work wonderfully with the pretty colors and edgy black accents you used. This is one glamourous little Zetti diva!

WOW! I love the zetti look of this one. The background colors are striking, and border treatment is great. Nicely done!

Barbara, this is delicious, (it makes my mouth water it's so delicious)! It's a masterpiece and I would certainly hang it on my wall. Very loud applause from my corner.
PS I hope you are feeling better soon.

By hook or by crook, you will (finish the series). I have NO plans at all or any desire to watch the new version-blecha!! Whaaaaa? Did they wait for McGoohan to die and then jump on it-grr!

Superb artwork! Your picture is so creative, colorful and clever. I love it!

Sometimes I have problems with Typepad swallowing my comments. Since there is no "pending aproval" showing up I can only assume that they are disappearing without trace.
Anyway, having said all that, and at the risk of repeating myself, I want to say that your artwork is superb. There is so much detail to see and enjoy and the overall effect is hugely creative and clever. Standing ovation from me.

I love your village reference, Kelly! And by hook or by crook, I will! They began just before McGoohan died, and asked him if he wanted to be part of it and he told them no way! So I'm thinking it will be pretty awful, but we're going to torture ourselves anyway. Be seeing you...

Just had to enlarge this piece to see it in all of its wonderfully detailed splendour. What a creative mind you have to assemble this funky piece so beautifully. Gorgeous in every way.

LOVE this one Barbara! It's so lively and full to bursting with colour! I really love the borders all made up of tiny pieces!
As for The Prisoner - nah. It just wouldn't be the same with Patrick. Hope you get to feel better very soon - try not to overdo things, will you? xoxoxo
