Bev

I loved your journaling, and your art piece is both thoughtful and thought-provoking. Kudos to you!

It's a wonderful page, Barbara - and I must admit that I like the notion of being a collage in progress - there are many layers built up over the years :-) Diane

Barbara - no, you're not blind!!! I wrote my post late last night and the challenge wasn't up till after I went to bed... ergo, I linked it up this morning!! ;o)
Your collaged page is brilliant - one of my faves so far. Thanks for describing the 'figure' and how you put it together. I find it interesting that people think through their collages, where my approach is much more naive - like a child placing elements, with no thought and pure instinct. I've no idea if that's good or bad, but it certainly ain't "purist"!!
Love your detailed posts... always giving me something to think about! xoxoxo

Nicola Toms

Wow what a brilliant image!!! I love the sillouette of the figure, it's very striking!! Wonderful work!

Lori Saul

Wonderful collage page- beautifully created and thought out! I so enjoyed reading your thoughts on mixed media and collage as an art form- taking mixed elements and creating something new from them- very powerful!

Lisa

Such an insightful post with so many layers. I will revisit again and again to peel them back one at a time.

Amy

i left something for you on my blog :D

Galina

I totally agree with you: life is a collage of bits and pieces, a mosaic that is never finished. Wonderful thoighful piece!

Marina Huisman

What wise word to go along with your journal page, I makes you stop and think about it.

I have a saying on my weblog and I think it reflects on you art piece beautifully:

Anyone who says you can't see a thought, simply doesn't know art. ~Wynetka Ann Reynolds~

Yvonne van Kersen
