As it is already Thursday again, last week's Inspire Me Thursday theme of "healing" has already passed. But as I just finished this 2-page spread in my art journal, I thought I'd post it anyway. At any rate, this certainly fits This Thursday's theme, which is "change".
In case you have a hard time reading my hand-scrawled text, it says: "Sometimes something takes us apart and we must find a way to put ourselves back together. Often the reconstruction leaves us altered, but it also makes us more unique and strengthens our connections with humanity."
These are the only pages, so far, in this particular journal that are in pen and colored pencil instead of acrylic and collage. The images are rubber stamps from Stampotique Originals by artist Daniel Torrente, which I have stamped, colored, cut and reconstructed. It's much easier to see if you click the picutre to enlarge it.
Have a great day, Everyone!
