What happens when three ballet students, straight from the studio and armed with a cell phone camera, are forced to tag along on a shopping trip to JoAnn? Well, see for yourself:
After about an hour of picking out what I needed and casually browsing the shelves, I realized that things had been awfully quiet. Thinking that the kids had gotten really bored and were wandering the mall, I gave them a call. Turns out that JoAnn isn't just a crafts store. It's a room full of props! They hadn't left the store at all. They were busy compiling a photo-journal. And you thought YOU had fun at JoAnn!
Late edit: Just want to let you all know that the employees at JoAnn knew what the kids were doing and were fine with it. Even though the photos have an energetic feel, in reality, the kids were very calm, quiet and respectful of the merchandise, so the store had no problem with what they were doing.
So funny, those three are so creative. I need them when I do a shot with my grandkids. I wonder if the surveillance cameras were on?

I think that's absolutely fantastic and they obviously enjoyed themselves!! I think kids in general get so much flak these days, we should try to be more positive about them wherever possible.
