This is first time I have participated in this wonderful challenge! I have wanted join in with Dans Ma Maison... since it first began, but time commitments plus the trouble I'm having accessing blogger blogs made me put it off till now.
If you look very closely, you might be able to see the blue butterfly silhouettes against the purple of the background. My large papillon was cut from this same paper, DCWV's Far East stack, then outlined with fine line sliver Krylon pen and embellished with Art Institute glitters. The Japanese character is also cut from this paper and outlined in silver. Both are held in place with dimensional tape. The image is from Artful Illusions. More sliver pen and glitter was used around the periphery of the house and the image. Lilac tulle is held in place with diamond glaze and a scattering of what look like pearls, but are really opalescent beads. Ribbons are attached at top with diamond glaze also, and the piece is set upon a sheet of lilac homemade paper.
I will try to look at everyone's pieces for this challenge, but if you don't receive a comment from me, it is probably because I am having such a hard time accessing blogger blogs! The pages have been opening only sporadically for the last few days. Hopefully, I will be able to post this to the challenge blog, as the Dan Ma Maison site is powered by blogger.
Have a wonderful day, Everyone!
Ta maison est magnifique, très "féminine" j'aime l'harmonie de l'ensemble et la manière dont tu as procédé pour la réaliser, merci beaucoup pour ta participation et un grand bravo.
