This was so much fun! I had no idea where I was going with this until I got there, and then I knew I was finished.
Wednesday Stamper's theme is "arrow", and I began with the weather vane rooster stamp from Close To My Heart, added Invoke Arts "script house" and put the man in the window - - a 7Gypsies rub-on. After that came the cow, barbed wire and hay, and the numbers and text stamps, all from Close To My Heart. I added rub-ons from Anna Griffin and K&Company until it looked right, then I lightly sponged-on Nick Bantock inks in yellow, red and brown. I burned the edges and mounted it on black decorative paper, then mounted this on K&Company cardstock. I cut out more of the swirls and glued them on top and added the rub-on bird from K&Company's new "Urban" sheet.
If you look hard enough, you just might find a few arrows. I think the house qualifies, and so does the weather vane.
Have a great day, Everyone!

I REALLY LOVE this artwork! Not only a subject that's dear to my heart, but I love the delicate stamps in contrast to the bold flourishes, the numbers and the bird, the cow, the great verse, the arch, just great! It's fresh and different. Bravo!
Creatively Yours, Laura

I love what you've achieved here... it's brilliant! And I'm glad you 'got' it... it'll go over the heads of some of my European commenters, but nevertheless I'm leaning towards injecting more of my humour into my artwork and it makes me happy! Glad I made you giggle!!
