4X4 Friday's theme for the week is "Pets". A few months ago I turned a photo of Hoot, my Bichon Frise, into a Photoshop stamp. If you're interested in seeing a slide show of the progression from photo to stamp, click here. I printed a few of these last night in various colors to play with, and chose the pale aqua color for today's card.
The corner is stamped in acrylics with a foam stamp from Making Memories. The word stamps are from Inkadinkado. I used an old trick here: The stamp came out a little fuzzy at the end of the "g" in "Thinking", so I used a fine point black Sharpie and added the dots to mask the blur, then added some more dots to balance it out, and dotted the frame after first lining it in red-orange marker. The little flowers are vintage. In reality the 4X4 is perfectly straight, but my digital photography skills are just lacking enough that it came out at an uneven angle, and I didn't bother taking the time to straighten it in Photoshop.
Have a great weekend, Everyone!
Sweet 4x4! I love how you disguised the blur. That is a good idea to use again, with or without a blur!!
