"First letter, first name" is the theme for today's Wednesday Stamper. Lucky for me, the first letter of my first name happens to be "B" on the day I needed to make a birthday card for my DH. I currently have 5 projects on-going for a total of 25 items. Each of these are intricate and complex, so the birthday card is my breath of fresh air. Absolutely nothing complicated about this straight-forward layout and design.
The stamp is a generic foam stamp. I soaked the "irthday" part in periwinkle acrylic paint and stamped it on a piece of hand-made paper. The chipboard "b" is from Making Memories. I covered it in opalescent acrylic and sponged-on the periwinkle paint. You can't tell from the scan, but what looks like gray stripes are really a soft opalescent green-gray, so the shimmery "b" fits nicely. Silver metal dots are by Colorbok and the deep periwinkle paper is hand-painted and sponged. Cardstock is from Close To My Heart and the substrate is Bazzill Bling.
A nice manly card for your hubby. Hope his birthday is happy.
