Sometimes you just need to do something more complicated. Today's Arty Girlz challenge was the spark that got this piece going, since the theme for the week is simply "Stamping", and the only requirement is that stamps be used.
This said "anything goes" to me, and I began with the cut-out of the dress, added the heart cut-outs, arms from two different sources, the head and hat from a wonderful Sandra Evertson creation for Memories of a Lifetime, and then added the feet from an entirely different source. After that, it was time to find the background papers and embellishments. I started with the "I love you" art paper, bottom and top, which I had already stamped with a Making Memories foam flourish stamp in pink acrylic paint. When I decided to use the cardstock with the black flourishes, I hauled out my "Acanthus" stamp by Inkadinkadoo, and repeated the pattern on a piece of Sarah Lugg cardstock.
The rest of the piece is pretty self-explanatory - - some black paper lace toward the bottom and onto the pink cardstock, a scattering of black and white and gray flowers, a couple of beads and a handful of rhinestones, along with some penned words, doodles and dots, and one more stamp -- Hero Arts "Large Block Swirl Heart". There's also some cranberry cardstock and a large piece of pink Bazzill Bling, and probably a thing or two I forgot to mention. The piece looked like a celebration to me, so I'm calling it my "Valentine Party".
Wow wow wow I´m speachless, this is another stunning project from you. Always amazing. Love it.
