Today's Arty Girlz challenge is "frames". Sometimes I'm tempted to think that my brain picks up on these things ahead of time, because I very often find that I have just purchased the thing I need to do the challenge a day or so before, and at the time of purchase, I'm really not sure yet what I'm going to do with the item I've bought. Saturday, I bought some chipboard frames. Go figure! This really does happen all the time to me and it's almost eerie! Oh well, enough of me.
I stamped 'Rubber Stamped' "acanthus" on cardstock, embossed it with Tim Holtz "antique linen" distress embossing powder and dabbed around it with "shabby shutters" and "antique linen" distress ink. The chipboard frame was coated with gesso, then a medium-thick layer of "shabby shutters" crackle paint, further distressed with "antique rose" distress ink lightly dabbed onto it when dry. The image I used is from Miss Mary. I ink-jet printed it on photo paper and colored it with Ranger's "Cut n' Dry" pen nibs and distress inks. Embellishments are from K&Company. The tag and ribbon were distressed with walnut ink.
Now I'm off to look at everyone else's beautiful creations! Happy Tuesday, everyone!
Thanks for coming to visit me!

Brilliant work on the clip art image--you've given it a whole new look by hand-tinting it.
