Just one week before Christmas and the count-down begins with some new music, appropriate to the season. No, I am not in that photo! I do my service to the world by NOT singing. I have a 3 note range and all of them are off-key.
Pictured here is the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral Choir in Phoenix, Arizona. It's their beautiful voices that you'll be hearing here for the next week or so, and if I can get my html straight, you'll hear something different every other day or so.
The music plays automatically, but you can stop and start it at any time by cliking off the widget on the sidebar (something you'll want to do if you choose to play the Blinking Ballet in the Dec. 4 post).
In our home we celebrate both western Christmas and Russian Christmas (January 7th), so while there may be some music on my blog that is familiar to you, I guarantee that it's not the holiday music you're hearing on the radio. When it's not in English, it's either Greek or Russian. Today's selection is mostly in English. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!
